I-in under the wire. It’s been a good week but a busy one. Also, you guys get an extra tidbit.  This didn’t fit in the narrative, and it slowed the flow of events down too much so it didn’t make the cut.  But I still have this exchange in my head, and I thought I’d share it with you all. :)

Garreth: Beatrice. Will you do me the honour of being my wife?
Beatrice: *shocked* ….I! YES! No. Yes!
Garreth: *laughs* So is that a yes?
Beatrice: *impulsively hugs Garreth, also laughs*  Definitely a yes, but- I don’t understand- *draws back slightly*
Garreth: *still grinning* This can’t possibly be a surprise.
Beatrice: Well no, but. I mean, you’re a king. I figured you’d have an arranged something or other, or maybe marry for an alliance or- Well, you know, kingly stuff. I’m just a woodcutter’s daughter.
Garreth: I’m marrying for love. I’m marrying you.
