New Site Modifications

In preparation for new development, we've standardized the templates for our site. This included several changes requested by our readers including a smaller width to properly display the site at 640X480 pixels. Due to a miscalculation, the site was too large to be viewed properly on a 13" monitor without using the horizontal scroll bar in your browser.

We've also tweaked all the catalog pages and updated the catalog entries to accomodate more heavy building. We've got a lot more to add to this section even though most of our books are now posted. Hint hint.

We've also added (as you may have already noticed) Flash animation to the opening page. Although we're HTML purists at Radio, since Flash is both free and shipping with most browsers these days we figured most of our readership has it. Site logs (detecting browser type) also confirm this. Additionally, Flash's compact size allows us to use animation while keeping file sizes between 45-55K --the same load time as before!

Finally fixed the email page.

Fixed HTML problem which caused text to be yellow on a white background in some browsers.
