Ah, Morningsong. Yet another member of the Coyote clan, and every bit as much trouble as Greatmother and Coyote. Luckily, a tendency for sudden heart failure does NOT run in Rabbit’s family.
I’m attempting to find an inker for the next few weeks — I’m trying to finish my dissertation proposal soon. I found out that Dr Suzette Hayden Elgin, a writer of marvelous quiet little stories has frontal lobe dementia — like Alzheimers, but faster. No, no one knows why this happens and there’s no cure or remedy.
She was the one who inspired me to change my investigation process for the dissertation and I’d like for her to know that it was finished, before the disease has walked her too far along the road to understand. I’ve wasted too much time.
Greatmother seems to encompass the cunning/wisdom aspect, Morningsong seems well on her way to the successful trickster. Coyote himself? So far he seems to embody the version whose schemes backfire.
True, we’ve not seen much of that after the initial pages, so the impression may change.
G’day Mel, as Kay said, you have an important task in front of you and time will not wait. Go for it and make it happen….. the rest is flexible in comparison…..
And being a ‘bit different’ from the rest seems to run in the Coyote family….. Sis seems to be the Joker of the pack….
