Aaand that's the backstory. Really like how that last panel came out, and overall I'm happy with how the whole thing came together. Not quite the end of the chapter yet though. Next few pages should be interesting.

That is quite the backstory indeed. Fairy-Queen-Cat’s reaction to the situation is particularly interesting – I wonder how much that has to do with her still sticking around.
I like your varied use of light here.
Iiiiit has a fair bit to do with why she’s still there, yeah. It’s kind of like manslaughter – you didn’t mean to do the bad thing, but it was your hand that held the weapon.

Yup. 🙂 She didn’t panic in a bad way, and she did get out alive, which was her goal, but… unintended consequences and all that.
