Yes and no. Beast could very easily follow Sebastian. That he’s ~not~, even with, er, somewhat ‘foot-in-mouth’ provocation, is a good sign of how much stronger their relationship/friendship has gotten – if Sebastian had said anything like that to Beast when they’d first met, well, we’d be down one ex-army captain (or one enchanted king, come to that.)
Oops…Yeah, he screwed up big time. Never put words in the mouth of a dead person. Phrase it as a question if it absolutely has to be said, and it won’t generate nearly the reaction.
WHOOPS. Guess he can’t be perfect all the time. Which is good, really, in the interests of well-rounded characters, but come ON, Sebastian. No thinking ahead there.
Not quite as hard as Garreth would be if he could get through that door, though.

*wiiiiince* Daaamn, trying to use that against Beast and him just SNAPPING (which looked awesome) and aljfl;dsf But yeah.
Beast’s eeeeeeyes. His faaaaaaangs. 8D
Beast is a lot closer to the edge than he has been, and he’s not usually all that far away! XD;

Yes, yes he did. Sebastian didn’t have a strategy, really, just a goal (try to convince Beast he’s not a monster), and, well. Kiiinda flubbed it.
There is that. But, seriously… that is “Australian conservative politician” levels of foot-in-mouth, ‘Bastian.
*snerk* Yeah. Sebastian definitely wouldn’t cut it as a politician. At least not a successful one.

*snerk* Yeah. That’s the danger of going into a situation with a goal, but no strategy.
