One again I must, stand a bit confused at the authors of these stories. While the Visors being down, is a BIG hint to me (part of the “formula” that there is some deception going on, and maybe all is not as it seems (brothers alive?) I would not put it past for this kind of “Tragedy” to be real. After all Ebin had his entire family killed off why not his friends and allies as well? What confuses me is…while even the Beating of Flufweena and Killing of her Brothers aka Whoever… is condoned as part of the same “formula” The idea of the Emperor some how gaining control over the 2 Magi, would be unthinkable..you’d never see it.
