Aaaah, ALL THAT DETAIL in the second panel! Oh my god. <3 <3 That viewww. Those cloudsss. And Sebastian picks up on something being up instantly, aaaaaah! <3
LKJSDFLKSJA That angle in the third panel! The shadows!
I – just – Beast in the third and fourth panel altogether, aaaaah! Approaching this oh so slowly, BUT STILL GOING THROUGH WITH IT.
Hngggg, the fourth panel. The little details on Beast's face (his ears!) and oh god, I so cannot wait to see what happens next. I think. You're making me nervous. lsdkfjldskfh But yes, I still want to know! 8D
Sorry, I'm just…completely incoherent right now because this page is so lovely!
XD Hee! This was one of those pages where it felt like the story was using me to draw the page, instead of me using the page to draw the story, if that makes sense? XD;;;
<3 Thank you! Third panel just would NOT gel, I must have started over three or four times, and then on a whim I did a distorted perspective, and then that seemed to be better, so I tried again with a different distortion. So I had Beast, blank background, and I thought 'this looks okay' and then suddenly I was halfway through the background! XD;; Don't get me wrong, I loove how it turned out, but that was some surprise!background. *G*
Yeah, Beast is. This isn't something he wallows in, usually. It's always ~there~ because he can't get away from it, but he doesn't ~wallow~. And he definitely hasn't thought about how to tell it as a coherent whole to anybody.
I was fangirling over Beast’s expression in that last panel (which is awesome, by the way, kind of rueful and determined and yeah), when I went back and saw King Cat on the balcony up above and it struck me that he looked like a chaperone for Sebastian and Beast. That prompted an image of King Cat measuring the distance between the two boys to make sure there wasn’t any funny business going on, and I’m sorry Beast, were you trying to say something important just now?
Also, I like that decorative border thing behind Beast in the last panel. It breaks up the background without drawing attention away from Beast himself.
Aw! Poor Beast! This is going to be very hard for him. Thankfully, he’s never going to find a better listener than Sebastian.
I love, love, love the way Beast’s eyes are shadowed out in the third panel, and how neatly you’ve contrasted Sebastian’s mood with Beast’s by the way you’ve drawn them. Also, I like the half frame behind Beast in the last panel since it makes me feel like it’s the opening page of a storybook.

Haha, King Cat has been absent for a while, so I thought I should bring him back into action. XD
Thank you. I didn’t want to do wall/door behind Beast, but I didn’t want to leave it blank, either. Good to know this works! ^_^

Yeah, all Beast’s anger etc. stems from somewhere. =/ Talking about it is always harder than you think it’s going to be, too.
Thanks :3 And yay, I was going for a ‘start of story’/transition feel, so I’m glad that came across w/ the last panel 😀
I’m in love with this comic. Period.
^_^ I’m very happy to hear that.
