Nnnot sure I'm 100% happy w/ this page. But everything past here is pretty much on a fixed roller-coaster and I can't really displace anything without having a knock-on effect, so I'd rather this page be slow than do that. Think of it as the calm before the storm.
It's informative, at least. XD;; Sorta.
Yes, she is a journeywoman-elf, working on her literal 'master-piece'
*laughs* Love the pragmatism of Mistress Elf – curse a no go? How about a blessing instead? *grins* I absolutely adore that first panel – the use of space and her pose on the bed are lovely.
Augh, poor conflicted not-killer of baby princesses! I would not want to have been him at any point since Garreth met his future queen. I mean, yikes.
Haha, yeah, she’s an opportunist, but not malicious. 🙂 And thanks! I was definitely going for a more dynamic feel to the room.
Yyyyup. He has not been a happy camper, to say the least.
*giggles* Nice to see that the elf can figure out something to possibly help them if she can’t “hurt” them.
And I’d *really* hate to be the guardsman at this time. How do you tell your king that the woman he loves is his long lost twin sister who is suppose to be dead? (And here comes that self-fulfilling prophecy!)
Yep 😀 She’s very flexible that way.
Yeah. And he only met the ‘mysterious lady from the woods’ ~after~ Garreth had already proposed. So he didn’t have the option of nipping it in the bud.
lksdjflsdkf aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! But, just, ‘oh, damn, I guess I can’t do that – maybe I can do something else’ makes me smile. …Possibly because we know what’s going to happen next and want a little lightheartednesss beforehand, ha.
Aaaand she knows about them alkdjfaldskfjhl
But – but it’s the guard! Aaaaaaaaaaah! Oh no! D: lskdjf;asd
Haha, yeah, she’s pretty open to new opportunities. 🙂
Nnnot as such? She knows they look a lot alike, but there’s a certain level of ‘you all look like humans to me’ going on. Plus nobility tends to intermarry a lot. It’s not out of the question that he could be marrying a cousin or maybe even (in the less scrupulous nobles’ lands) a bastard daughter of his father. Basically it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if they shared some blood. Being ~twins~ is rather crossing several boundaries though. But yeah, that’s not the conclusion she jumped to.
Yes. Yes he is.
Heh; Amoral Elfwoman Is Amoral! It isn’t so much that it’s a curse or a blessing she gives, so long as she does *something!*
Poor guard; if I were him, I’d go to my grave keeping the secret… but that’s just me.
That’s… yeah. It’s almost more along the line of… it’s not that she wants to hurt people, she just doesn’t really see humans as ~people~. She’s young (especially for an elf), only rarely ventures into human lands, and is fixated on her own problems. So the dirty, short-lived, un-educated humans(and by elf standards, ALL humans are dirty, short-lived, and un-educated) don’t really blip her radar other than what use they can be to her. Which in a way yes is amoral. XD;
Yyyyeah, the guard’s very much between a rock and a hard place.
