The parallel of those last two panels is fantastic – especially with the contrast in colours. Beast looks heartbreaking small and fragile with his tentacles all curled in around him.

I like the way you depict the road to recovery not being a smooth one. There will be days when Beast is going to want to huddle in a corner and snarl at anyone who comes near, and there will be good days, where everything goes right and they get along just fine. Hopefully as time goes by, the latter will start to outnumber the former.
Aw, lil tentacle-ball Beast. I too, love how you’ve shown that the road isn’t completely smooth, but hell, they’re definitely making progress, bit by bit.

Oh, those tentacles wrapped around Beast’s own shoulders say a lot; when we want to be hugged, sometimes we hug ourselves. The tight-curled tips are interesting too– talk about body language.
Baby horse-thingie is darling! Hmmm, not a unicorn (you’ve shown some with more than one horn)– a multicorn? Plethoracorn? Equiicorn? …Horse?
